JIM Cording ran the British Heart Founda­tion half marathon in Bournemouth on April 3 in preparation for his ninth London Mara­thon later this month on April 24, three days before his 80th birthday, where again he will be a member of the Prostate Cancer GB Team.

Once more he gives thanks for the support which he has received, raising almost £8,000 for this worthy cause and says that his target is at least £10,000 before he hangs up his running shoes.
