Kingsbridge squash team, under the expert guidance of team captain Mark Maclaren, have this week been promoted to Devon Leagues division one for the first time in the club’s illustrious history.

They will now be competing with Devon’s top players from the counties leading squash clubs.

Top Devon players Luke Danby and Kieran Squire, playing at numbers one and two res­pectively, remained unbeaten all season, with veterans John Stevenson and An­thony Jones, along with rising star Matt Small­ridge, holding the fort at numbers three four and five.

Kingsbridge Squash Club is always looking for new players, so to anyone of any level, the club says please don’t hesitate to make contact.
