I refer to earlier correspondence in the newspaper about the state of our roads.

I had to use the road again today. I really believe it is now a big hazard and I do urge Devon County Council to have at least some temporary repairs completed near Halwell.

In addition, with summer visitors about to arrive, I ­suggest that the county council has some road signs placed for those who do not know how bad it is.

The sign could read something like: “Devon County Council recommends continuing to drive on the left side of the road or any road that is left.”
