CLIFF House in Salcombe hosted a fundraising event earlier this month, with a concert of music by a Michael Buble tribute act in the Assembly Room.

Steve Maitland provided a great night out and had everyone singing and dancing all night long.

Additional funds were raised through a well supported raffle.

A spokesperson for Cliff House said: ‘We would like to thank everyone who generously donated prizes in addition to everyone who came to support the venue.

‘The event proved so popular that the Cliff House team are hoping Steve will join us again later in the year for a repeat performance.

‘In the meantime they are putting the funds raised to good use within their extensive renovations program.

‘It was a really good night and the funds raised are essential as Cliff House are currently faced with raising £50,000 for repairs and renewals to the property. It’s 95 years since the house was left in trust and we’re hoping that we can preserve it for many generations to come.’
