FIRE engines from Modbury, Kingsbridge and Ivybridge were called to Challaborough Bay Holiday Park on Saturday afternoon, following reports of a light fitting emitting smoke.
The incident occurred on the ground floor of the storage room, which set off a smoke alarm and led to the evacuation of the building.
A spokesperson for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: ‘We checked there was no fire, and when we were satisfied, we left.’
