This week we lead on a story about South Hams District Council seeking to remove a coffee kiosk that breaches a supermarket’s planning conditions.

The Coffee Co kiosk in Kingsbridge, run by Justin Mann, was given permission from the Tesco store manager, but this was in breach of the supermarket’s planning permission.

Our picture story, leading up to the centenary of the end of the First World War, is of members of the Royal British Legion at the launch of the legion’s Poppy Appeal in Modbury.

Inside, we report on the official grand reopening of the A379 at Slapton, and feature a separate story about a Chillington man who isn’t so happy to have the road reopened.

As always, we feature information about ’What’s On’, around the clubs, and ’Village Voices’ all inside.

Remember if you can’t get to the shops, or you have moved out of the area, you can get all South Hams Newspapers online here: http://www.southhams-today.co.uk/subscribe.cfm.
