Some members of the Kingsbridge and South Hams Art Club are busily finishing off their paintings in the studio at Harbour House for their forthcoming Summer Exhibition.

The club has been going strong since 1965 and this show follows on from the club’s successful Spring Exhibition in April.

Exhibition organiser Geoff Goodwin said “Our Summer Exhibition is here again. All the entries are in and the draw for the panel positions can now take place. Exhibitors are arranging their stewarding sessions, setting up panels and tables etc prior to handing in their paintings in time for the official opening by Councillor Anne Balkwill, the Mayor of Kingsbridge at 10.30am on August 11.

All members of KASHAC are invited to the opening in the Market Hall in Kingsbridge and I look forward to yet another exciting exhibition building on the successful trend of previous years. I wish all the exhibitors good luck and thank them for their artistic efforts.”

Entrance to the exhibition is free and runs from Saturday, August 11, until Sunday, August 26, at the Market Hall in Kingsbridge. Opening times are 10.30am until 4.30pm daily, closing at 3pm on the final day.
