This is an appeal to members of Kingsbridge Catholic Church.

A dear disabled friend of mine has a 24/7 carer from the Czech republic, a lovely, caring young woman who is a devout Catholic.

She attends the church when she can, often on Sunday mornings.

When I asked her if the ­congregation speaks to her, she shrugged her shoulders and said: ‘No, we only shake hands.’

She is missing her family very much and is lonely. Please would you extend the hand of friendship to her and make her feel welcome in our community?

She is tall, slim with long brown hair. Please look out for her.
