KINGSBRIDGE and Salcombe fire crews attended an accident on Bonfire Hill, Salcombe, where one car was found to have rolled backwards into a hedge.

Two occupants were still inside the vehicle when crews arrived at around 5.15pm on Thursday, May 5. The crews used a winch and chocks to stabilise the car and make the scene safe.

They monitored vital signs and gave oxygen to a woman who was suffering back pain, before an ambulance arrived. The occupants were fully checked over by paramedics before they and their vehicle continued their journey.
