Three people who were arrested after a man was stabbed multiple times in Ivybridge have had their bail extended.
Officers were called to St John’s Road at 10.30am on September 11.
Police say the victim, in his 50s, suffered several deep wounds to his legs, body and arms.
He was taken to hospital with life-changing injuries.
Two men and one woman, aged between 33 and 49, have had their bail extended to December 18, 2019.
The men had been arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary and the woman on suspicion of burglary.
Another man, aged 43, was released under investigation pending further inquiries.
DS Andy Penhaligon, of Devon and Cornwall Police, said: “We were called shortly after 10.30am on September 11 following reports that a man in his 50s had sustained a number of knife wounds.
“The man was taken to hospital with life-changing injuries."
The investigation continues.
