Rink one with George Brown, Charlie Dunton, Viv Rogers and skip John Fowler never got their act together to lose by nine shots to 34.

Rink two comprising Mike Wonnacott, Pat Janes, Dick Bond and skip Anita Elliot led from the off to win by 21 shots to 13.

Rink three composed of Barbara Elson, John Harding, John Yeabsley and skip John Peckham equally controlled throughout to win 24 shots to 13.

Rink four consisting of Bill Rogers, Don Havis, Ron Elson with skip Val Harding went down 12 shots to 22. Overall a loss by 66 shots to 82.

On Thursday, June 18, the club travelled to Yealmpton for another mixed friendly. Rink one with Barbara Elson, Pat Janes, Chris Adams and skip John Fowler won well by 27 shots to eight.

Rink two of Mike Wonnacott, Harry King, Val Harding and skip John Yeabsley were defeated by 15 shots to 19.

Rink three with George Brown, Charlie Dunton, Viv Rogers and skip John Harding won a close match, 24 shots to 17.

Rink four with Bill Rogers, John Peckham, Anita Elliot and skip Ron Elson won 19 shots to 16. Overall a win by 85 shots to 61.

On Saturday, June 20, Bovey Tracey were the visitors in a Mid Devon League match.

Rink one with Mike Wonnacott, Richard Kerswell, John Hall and skip Ron Elson lost 13 shots to 18.

Rink two with Bill Rogers, Ron Edmonds, John Fowler and skip David Hurrell drew 19 shots all.

Rink three with Wilf Hutchins, Charlie Dun­ton, Colin Steer and skip John Harding won well by 20 shots to eight.

Rink four of Don Havis, John Yeabsley, John Brothers and skip John Peckham lost 11 shots to 20. Overall this was a loss by 63 shots to 65, the Park picking up just three league points.

On Sunday, June 21, Saltash were the visitors in a mixed friendly. Rink one with Mike Wonnacott, Viv Rogers and skip John Harding won well 22-10.

Rink two with Dave Stewart, Charlie Dun­ton and skip Chris Ad­ams picking up some big counts over the closing ends won by 23 shots to eight.

Rink three with Don Havis, Wilf Hutchins and skip John Fowler won convincingly by 27 shots to seven.

Rink four of George Brown, Anita Elliot and skip John Yeabsley won 24 shots to 11.

Rink five with Bill Rogers, Val Harding and skip Steve Russell also won well by 26 shots to 10. Overall a win by 122 shots to 46.

On Saturday, June 27, Newton Abbot were the visitors in an MDL match. Rink one with John Fowler, Ron Ed­monds, Chris Adams and skip David Hurrell won 19 shots to 11.

Rink two with Steve Russell, John Yeabsley, John Brothers and skip John Peckham won a close encounter 15 shots to 13.

Rink three with Mike Wonnacott, Richard Kerswell, John Hall and skip Ron Elson went down 13 shots to 27.

Rink four consisting of Dick Bond, Wilf Hutchins, Colin Steer and skip John Harding won well by 23 shots to 13. Overall a win for the Park 70-64, picking up 12 league points.
