A fire engine from Totnes and one from Ivybridge were sent to a collision involving two vehicles with reports of one person being trapped in each vehicle.

Fire crews used small tools to release one casualty from one vehicle and the Ambulance service released a further casualty from the second vehicle.

It happened just after 6pm on Thursday October 30.
