SOUTH Hams Dance Academy students had their first presentation class last Friday, showing off their hard work.

Held at the Kingsbridge Community College performing arts building, the awards celebrated the hard work and dedication of the students.

‘Every student is special and awards are given twice a year, giving them something to work towards’ said Lara Christopher, teacher at South Hams Dance Academy.

This term the awards were given to Amy Lowcock, Lydia Musegula, Olly Simmonds and Jess Yeoman.

South Hams Dance Academy are also holding a ‘breaking’ workshop with Matt from Just4Funk on October 25, between 9-11am. This workshop will introduce you to the basics of breakdancing but there will also be the opportunity to try some more challenging movements, if you’re up for it!
