A QUIZ night in aid of Saltstone Caring at the Dodbrooke Inn in Kingsbridge raised £500 for the local charity.

The quiz master was Gareth Bewley, helped by his two songs Max and Flynn.

The competition was won by Up The Creeks and first prize in the raffle was won by Sandy Gilbert, who won a voucher for a Brittany Ferries trip.

President Elizabeth Bewley-Jones said: ‘It was a fantastic night and everyone enjoyed it. It was an amazing night. Thank you to Gareth and his boys and Mike and Jill from the Dodbrooke Inn.’
