A PLANNING application to change The Quay pub in Kingsbridge into retail space and flats has been submitted to South Hams District Council.
The planning application is for permission to change the pub into a retail premises on the ground floor and six flats: two one-bed flats and one two-bed flat each on the first and second floor.
The building is Grade II listed, but the application states that the listing details the external features, but not the internal features. The application states that the inside of the pub is in ‘poor condition’, and has evidence of internal modifications completed over many years.
Kingsbridge Town Council have recommended approval for the application and there are, so far, no objections to the plans.
