Living opposite the Kingsbridge steps, I have noticed an ever-increasing number of families with young children using the steps for crabbing, which is lovely to see.

It would be very good PR for Kingsbridge to establish a small pontoon to accommodate such a popular activity. I am sure with a little thought this could be achieved. If life could be made easier for mums and dads I’m sure Kingsbridge would benefit financially.

Maybe it could be sponsored? I would be happy to assist. An area for crabbing could include a life-jacket ­station. I also strongly propose that at least one life jacket is placed near the steps.
