With regards to the ‘pow wow’ regarding the district councils merger intentions held at Follaton House, Totnes, when only one person from the public turned up, suggests to me that perhaps – not too cynically –the public are just fed up with councillors and politicians alike, knowing that they will do whatever they like anyway.

The pow wow excercise is to demonstrate that they are seen to be consulting the general public.
