I was walking along Waverly Road in Kingsbridge on Sunday evening on my way to the ­college for a screening of ­wonderful Argentinian films with Kingsbridge Kino.

I would like to say what a joy it is to walk along Waverly Road on a dull winter’s evening. Nearly every house has a picture-perfect Christmas tree in the front window, all beautifully decorated. It really lifted my spirits.

Well done Waverly, it’s ­stunning.
