Art aficionados are invited to join them for an evening of art, canapés, fizz and music by the fabulous Scarlet Ladies.
The evening will commence with a reception at 7pm followed by the auction, which will be conducted by Mr Stuart Cartwright from Marchand Petit, estate agents in Modbury.
He will be auctioning original works of art that have been kindly donated by the gallery’s artists, including paintings and sculpture.
Included in the items for auction will be an original painting by Tony Parsons of an RNLI Mersey class lifeboat, as well as Caroline Mercer’s Janus-faced sculpture, portraying lifeboatmen from the past and present.
There will also be the auction of a special Salcombe Lifeboat coxswain’s t-shirt, signed by members of the crew.
Numbers are strictly limited, and free tickets are available at the Brownston Gallery in Modbury and at the Salcombe Lifeboat Shop.
For further information please contact the Brownston Gallery on 01548 831338, or Tim Chandler from RNLI Salcombe fundraisers on 01548 561678.
