South Hams video production company Red Air Drones has been flying high – as this video shows.

Among the places covered on the 'Love South Devon' clip are the Slapton Line, Torcross, Start Point, Kingsbridge and Bantham.

The company comprises aerial cameramen Gavin Crowther and Jim Bishop, plus partnership director/editor Dominick Finan.

Gavin has been in the broadcast TV and video industry for the last 30 years. He spent 10 years filming adventure documentaries in some of the most extreme places in the world. He won an Emmy in 1997 for his camerawork filming for the American Outdoor Life Network for his film Rock Queen, the first attempt to free climb the Old Man of Hoy by Catherine Destevelle.

Other awards include the Hussein Medal of Excellence of the First Order, awarded by the late King Hussein of Jordan, for his services to aerial filming and aviation. Worldfest Houston Film Gold special jury award for Westcountry Top Secret in 2005.

Jim is a Civil Aviation Authority registered cameraman.

Both have permission for commercial operation issued by the CAA.

Dominick founded Viewhear in 2006 and has created a name for himself as a conscientious high quality film maker with in-depth experience in producing videos for small and large businesses and community organisations. Dominick likes to be involved in the whole creative process from the pre-planning, filming to the post-production process. He also draws upon his experience and skills from his previous career as a graphic designer.
