Every weekday, for over two years now, one side of Sandhills Road, Salcombe, has been occupied by a tight phalanx of around 25 lorries, vans and cars, apparently all belonging to construction workers on One Castle Point site.
The effect is to make the road a very awkward one-way system – bad enough in winter, likely to become intolerable again when the summer traffic builds up for North Sands, South Sands, Overbecks etc.
Is it not possible for some of the workers to be ferried from the park-and-ride site? I, for one, am not looking forward to the summer, especially as the disruption for all of us is for another large holiday trophy home.
