Following John Peacock’s robust response to the correspondent who was lamenting the lack of events in Kingsbridge to celebrate the Queen’s birthday, I would like to point out that Kingsbridge
in Bloom has designed and planted a special display on the egret bed opposite Boots (see picture).
On the day of her birthday it was decorated with little Union flags and the large Union flag is flying on the square in her honour. I wonder what the complainant had organised to mark the occasion.
