Police are appealing for information after a car driver was allegedly punched in the face by a pedestrian.

A man driving his car through Fore Street, Salcombe, was approached by a male pedestrian and verbally abused through the window before the pedestrian punched the driver to the face, say police.

The alleged attack took place on on the morning of August 15.

Witnesses and are asked to ring 101 and quote crime reference CR/056748/16 with any information.
