SALCOMBE RNLI launched their inshore lifeboat, Joan Bate, on Tuesday, 12th April to rescue a commercial angling vessel.

A Salcombe Harbour Authority launch took the eight passengers off the angling boat, while the inshore lifeboat towed the fishing boat to Normandy pontoon in Salcombe for repair.

This was Salcombe lifeboat’s sixth launch of the year to date.
