It seems to me that since the Brexit vote the country could to be likened to a bath full of water with the plug out and we have all been spiralling downwards in the whirlpool to the drain below.

Now we have just had the royal wedding and that occasion has replaced the plug and we have had a reason to forget our woes for a while and smile again. Let’s hope someone doesn’t come along and pull that plug out again too quickly.
