The Met Office has issued double weather warnings for heavy rain across the South Hams.

The yellow warnings are in place from 6am on Tuesday, November 26, to 3pm on Wednesday, November 27.

It’s predicted up to 20 to 40mm of rain could fall in places, with forecasters saying flooding and disruption are possible.

Bus and train services could also be delayed.

A Met Office spokesperson said: "A broad area of heavy rain is expected to move northeastwards across this region during Tuesday.

“Heavy showers then follow, these probably heaviest and most numerous on and near coastal areas, especially in Wales and southwest England.

“Conditions also quite windy at times, especially in coastal areas where gales are likely.
