SLAPTON Bowling Club held their annual charity day last weekend and raised more than £700.

The event, held at Slapton Village Hall on Sunday, April 3, was the thirteenth charity 4s competition and was held in aid of Bidwell Brook Primary School, a school for children with special educational needs in Dartington, and Children’s Hospice South West.

The first prize was won by Slapton A team and the wooden spoon went to Totnes B team. SMVR of Garden Mill Industrial Estate, Kingsbridge, owned by Steve and Laura Shute, sponsored the prizes and Laura presented the prizes.

Last week we incorrectly named Steve and Laura’s business, we apologise for any confusion.
