SAVE The Children are hosting a charity Black Tie Gala Dinner at the Thurlestone Hotel to support children in the UK and overseas.

Ian Coulton, event organiser, said: ‘We’re delighted to be organising this event in such a stunning setting as the rural South Hams, highlighting the fact that some areas of South Devon have the highest level of poverty, outside of the big cities.

‘This special event will help raise vital funds to support children in desperate need both in the UK and overseas. We can all play our part in making a difference.’

The event will take place on Saturday, October 8, at 7.30pm with a three-course meal, music from top covers band Society Rocks, as well as a raffle and auction.
