SALCOMBE Art Club is proud to announce the first edition of ‘Draw the Regatta’, an art competition for children inspired by the regatta events.

The competition welcomes local residents and visitors alike, and is divided into two age categories: ‘children up to 7 years old’ and ‘children between 8 and 12 years old’ who will compete for first prize and a runner up prize in each category.

The prizes will consist of art materials, and the drawings will be judged by a panel of Salcombe Art Club members.

To participate, all children must collect official sketching paper from the Salcombe Art Club, available during our normal opening hours, between 11am and 5pm daily from Sunday, July 31.

The deadline for submission is Wednesday, August 3, no later than 12pm.

A winner will be decided by 2pm on the same day, when all competition pictures will be displayed to the public and will remain on display until the end of the regatta.

Prizes can be collected from the club once the winners are revealed.
