Thank you for finding space to mention our Regency Ball at Sharpham House. The ball was a great success, raising over £700.

We’re sure it was also a great success for our guests, with a brilliant meal, period music and dancing, all in the authentic Georgian setting of Sharpham House.

Most guests came in period costume, as did most of the volunteers working in the kitchen. Walking around the event was like stepping back 200 years.

We’re very grateful to the Sharpham trustees for letting us use their beautiful house, the many local businesses that donated raffle prizes and food and the Renaissance Historical Dance Society and the many musicians who gave their time.

Once again, thanks for your help in making this a success.
