Following a series of sold out shows and standing ovations throughout the UK, a westcountry tribute act is returning to the South Hams next week.
Malborough Village Hall will host the New Jersey Boys on Thursday, October 18, who play the music of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, as well as pay tributes to Showaddywaddy, among others.
The choreographed show features the falsetto voice of Einar Vestmann and the all-around humour of entertainer Gary Gould, and guarantees an evening of “fast moving entertainment with superb harmonies, stunning solo spots, and light comedy”, according to the band’s latest news release. Vocalist Ricky Lee White, from Plymouth, provides “strong support” with both harmonies and solo spots, while singer Tom Giles blends well into the vibrant and popular show which has built up a loyal following.
The programme will also feature tributes to other performers such as Elton John, Freddie Mercury and Tina Turner.
Tickets are £16, and are available from the Malborough Post Office, Kingsbridge and Salcombe information centres, and online at www.wegottickets.com.
