I just have to write in to say a big thank you to both South Hams District Council and the National Trust for rising to the challenge of litter at South Milton Sands.

A new bin has been installed by the toilets and staff are now keeping on top of all the extra work involved with "picking up" after visitors at this time of year.

May it continue for the rest of the summer!

When I litter-pick the beach and surrounding area every day, I now feel proud of the results we are all achieving and everyone is happier.
