A STATEMENT from Kingsbridge In Bloom after their win yesterday.
Graham Price, Kingsbridge In Bloom chair said: ’We have just returned back to Kingsbridge having been to the 2016 RHS awards in Taunton.
’This year we were entered into the Champion of Champions class which is the category reflecting very best ’bloom towns and cities in the SW, irrespective of size.
I am delighted to let you know that Kingsbridge was awarded a GOLD medal and the RHS Serco cup for community initiative.
’The "In Your Neighbourhoods", which reflect the 12 areas of the town where residents take responsibility for their own location, also achieved exceptionally good results.
’Thank you all for your kind support for our "bloom" effort.’
