Pat Baker has retired from being vice-chair and volunteer at the Kingsbridge Rest Centre after many years.

Having been a very prominent member of the committee and organiser of many Easter and Christmas raffles, sing-a-longs, VE celebrations, weekly bonus ball competitions and much more, she has also been a “great support” to chair Rona Kemsley and all of the committee.

An informal lunch at the Rest Centre with fellow management committee members was held at the end of last year, where Pat was presented with a bouquet of flowers and a travel voucher.

Rona Kemsley said: “We shall miss you Pat and we look forward to seeing you at the Rest Centre, and on day trips, sitting down and enjoying your coffee and having the time to chat.”
