Due to the success of Kingsbridge in Bloom over the past few years, the requirement for regular watering around town has increased considerably.

The team desperately needs more volunteers to help with this task. Facilities have been improved and there is a ­powered water bowser.

If enough volunteers step ­forward we will be able to divide up the responsibilities into small areas, which will not take too long.

I have found, during my ­period of watering, that this is a very social activity. I have met and chatted with many residents and visitors. The times for watering can be very flexible and rotas will be draw up when we see how many volunteers we have.
