A devastating fire in September 2021 closed one of the South Hams favourite pubs.

The 14th century Tradesmen’s Arms in Stokenham was badly damaged by a kitchen fire which also destroyed four neighbouring cottages.

Since then the local community managed to raise £!3,000.

The pub has now had a ‘soft opening’ with doors open between Friday and Sunday lunchtime before re-opening fully on May 10.
