The Care Company, based in East Allington, are the finalists in the upcoming 2017 Care Awards for the Quality Specialist category.

As a local company the Care Company has been providing community home care within the South Hams and Torbay area for the past 11 years. They also provide a full 24 hour live in-care service to clients across the whole of the Devon area.

A spokesman for the company said: “We are overwhelmed at becoming finalists in this prestigious award. We feel honoured at being both nominated and then recognised for our efforts in the provision of excellence in care and how we value our staff too.

“As a company, we are proud ambassadors to Purple Angel - working to raise awareness of dementia. We held a dementia assembly in September 2016 to help raise awareness, where Norm Macnamara, the founder of Purple Angel, gave an excellent speech to a broad audience of our clients, staff, health care professionals and the general public.”

The spokesman continued: “We have a wonderful team of staff who work extremely hard and who are entirely valued by our directors. The company works hard at finding new ways to support our dedicated team.

“We would like to thank all our staff for all that they do on a daily basis to ensure our service continues to provide the best possible care to our clients.”

The 2017 Care Awards take place on Friday, April 7 in Taunton.
