An art installation made from recycled plastic, has run out of time, but the “feedback, support and understanding has been wonderful”.
Organiser Bunny Barnett said: “Thank you for all the help in getting the bottles and recycled bits and all the kids and parents that helped in the building of the ‘egloo’.
“Unfortunately we weren’t able to add its crowing glory, the egg, but time ran out on us and the plot was needed, but the feedback, support and understanding has been wonderful and also reassuring.
“I think we all wanted to look after this beautiful planet of ours as well as look after the beautiful creatures that inhabit it with us. We just need projects, ideas and places to do positive things, whether building practical things with the plastics, like greenhouses, chicken houses, fencing, or creating art.
“At the moment, plastic is here and will be for the foreseeable, its up to us to make the most of it. Some of it will outlive us.
“I have thoroughly enjoyed this project and others seemed to have too. The teenagers and children have been fantastic, both inspired and inspiring, and we can’t ask for better than that. They are the future as is out planet and its creatures.
“If you would like me to start a project with you at your club, village or school, give me a call, I would glad to be of help.”
