KINGSBRIDGE Community College’s youth market, known as Made by Youth, is holding their next event on Saturday.

Made by Youth has been in existence since November 2004 and has run about six times a year. Students build on their entrepreneur skills by developing a business and the project gives young traders a real insight into the world of business.

It has been a steep learning curve, but stallholders have always risen to the challenge. At the Kingsbridge Show in September 2015, the group was awarded the Best Trade Stall of the whole show.

On the Saturday, March 5, Made by Youth will be holding their next market at the Kingsbridge Family Church, off Fore Street.

There will be hot drinks available along with savoury snacks, biscuits and cakes. While you browse arts and crafts you can stop to have your shoes shined. You may even find a Mother’s Day gift.

The Family Church is the first new location for Made by Youth as the youth market looks for fresh ideas for businesses and places where the stalls can be held. Watch this space for more youth markets and the opportunity to purchase the student’s products.
