KINGSBRIDGE Children’s Centre will move out of their current building on Friday, March 18, and deliver services ‘in the community’.
Here is the list of services that will be provided between Monday, April 11, and Friday, July 22, and where they will be held, any event with a * requires you to contact the centre before attending:
MONDAY: Under Ones Group and breastfeeding support will take place at Horizons, 110 Fore Street between 1-2.30pm. This is a weekly drop-in session for parents with babies aged 0-12months and costs £1.
TUESDAY: Messy Play for children aged 0-4 will be held at Horizons on April 12, May 10, June 14 and July 12, and costs £1.
Family Advice with Becky* will be available at Horizons between 9.30-11.30am.
Solihull Parenting Course*, ‘Understanding your child’s behaviour’ will be at East Allington Village Hall. It is a ten-week course with a crèche starting on Tuesday, April 19.
WEDNESDAY: Chattertime*, a communication group for children aged 18 months and over. Your health visitor can refer you.
Beach Adventure* will take place on Wednesday, June 22, between 11am-1pm at Thurlestone Sands. This cost £1 and includes beach art, kite making and more. Please book and bring a picnic. Meet in the National Trust car park.
THURSDAY: Baby Clinic will be at South Hams Hospital, Kingsbridge, between 9.30-11.30am.
Literacy Skills* will be held at the existing Children’s Centre building between 9.30-11.30am.
Baby Massage* will take place at Horizons between 1.30-2.30pm between June 9-30.
Parents to Be* an antenatal class will take place at Kaleidoscope South Hams, 115 Fore Street, Kingsbridge. This three-week course will be held between April 21 and June 23.

Other services include the hire of electric breast pumps, hires of tens machines, parent’s book library, home visiting and parental support and advice can all be accessed by calling 01803 833164.
