THE 1980s were brought back to life by the children of West Alvington and Charleton primary schools this week.

The pupils met together for a 1980s themed disco on Thursday, May 19, as a part of their history topic this term.

Ruth Benton, head of Charleton primary school said: ‘The staff and children came decked out in their finest neon and leg-warmers to dance the afternoon away to some classic tunes.

‘They had great fun learning the routine to ‘Agadoo’ by Black Lace and threw some spectacular shapes to the likes of Wham and Dexy’s Midnight Runners.’
