In response to last week’s ­letter criticising Roger Tyler’s Christian Comment on Halloween, I would just like to comment that the God – with a capital ‘G’ – Mr Tyler worships sent his son to die on the cross and shed his blood for each one of us, for the whole of mankind, to take away our sin and give us eternal life. (John 3:16).
