Churchstow Family Dog Show has raised £250 for the PDSA in their first show in partnership with Meadow Wood Pet Cemetery.

The event was run in aid of the People’s Dispensary for Sick Animals, PDSA, who support animals and their owners who need veterinary care.

Penny Fenton, organiser, said: “At the new location of Meadow Wood the Churchstow Family Dog Show was twice as successful this year with a fine parade of attractive dogs. Masses of cream-teas and cakes were served in the marquee and a raffle in aid of the PDSA proved very popular.”

Tim Page, Meadow Wood, said: “It went fantastic and we were truly blown away by the response and support. In all we raised £250 for the PDSA dogs trust and it was the most successful show for the area in years. We are all really pleased.”

Best-in-Show was won by Shannon Foot’s bitch Narla, while the Reserve went to Kiwi, owned by Jess Plumber.
