A South Devon home care provider has been named among the UK’s Top 20 Home Care Groups for the fourth consecutive year.

CareYourWay, a family-run business founded in South Devon in 2005, received the national recognition from Homecare.co.uk, which bases its rankings on reviews from people receiving care and their families.

The award places the company among the highest-rated large home care groups in the country, with the business now sitting within the top 1 per cent of providers nationally, according to CareYourWay.

Its flagship team, based just outside East Allington, supports clients and families across the South Hams, Plymouth and Torbay, providing care in people's own homes.

The company said the latest recognition was a significant milestone for its local team, which has continued to support the community since its foundation more than 20 years ago.

Clients, families and care staff gathered last month to celebrate the achievement and recognise the contribution of those involved in delivering the service.

CareYourWay said generations of care professionals had helped local people maintain their independence and dignity through support tailored to individual needs.

The company also highlighted the role home care can play in supporting relatives who might otherwise be responsible for providing full-time care, allowing them to spend more time with loved ones as family members rather than primary carers.

Despite its growth from a local service into part of a larger national group, CareYourWay said it remained committed to its founding principle of supporting local families with the same care and compassion it would want for its own.
