SALCOMBE Police Neighbourhood Team recently held a competition to design a poster with a marine crime theme and win free tickets to Paignton Zoo.

The tickets, kindly donated by the zoo, were presented to Sophie Olsen by PCSO Dave Gibson. Her winning design will be displayed at various points around the Kingsbridge and Salcombe Estuary as a reminder to boat owners to secure their boats and equipment.

On Wednesday, August 3, there will be a Marine Awareness Day on Whitestrand Car Park in Salcombe where police and partner agencies will be displaying information around marine crime prevention.
