A FIRE crew from Kingsbridge was called to rescue a labrador near Tumbly Hill in Kingsbridge last weekend.

The dog had become trapped in the mud on the banks of the estuary.

Crews arrived on the scene and promptly rescued the dog using a short extension ladder and a rope.
