A CAR has smashed into the fence in Fore Street car park, Kingsbridge.

The silver Peugeot 308 estate was parked and unattended when it ran across the car park and was left stuck on the crash barrier near the steps down to the Tesco store.

No one was in the vehicle at the time and no one was injured. The only victim appears to be the car and the barrier, which was slightly dented.

Kingsbridge Police are on scene and the car will be removed as soon as possible.

Remember to leave your car in gear when you park!
