THE Salcombe Players are putting the finishing touches to their latest production -Laying The Ghost, an adult comedy by Simon Williams.

Laying the Ghost is set in an old actors’ retirement home and is produced by Yvonne Basey.

The production features a cast of six local actors, along with a cameo appearance by Father Daniel French, who has previously performed with the Salcombe Players in pantomime.

Laying The Ghost runs from Thursday, March 3 until Saturday, March 5 at Cliff House in Salcombe.

The first evening’s performance will have conventional audience seating, with Friday and Saturday having a ‘bistro-style’ table layout, where audiences are encouraged to bring along a picnic hamper with friends.
