Regarding Gary Edgecombe’s letter on Dr Sarah Wollaston’s inactivity in helping people, Gazette, September 11.

I beg to differ: she’s currently pursuing getting sugar taxed, so the treats I buy my kids – ie sweets – will be more expensive.

Just like the Iron Lady took milk off the schoolkids years ago – ‘Maggie Thatcher milk snatcher’ – Dr Wollaston is a true Tory Party member, ­helping to make working ­families poorer.
