SOAR Mill Cove Hotel recently presented a cheque for £400 to Hope Cove Life Boat.

The money was raised through the generosity of guests at the hotel over the summer months.

In total £800 was raised, with the funds being split equally between Hope Cove Life Boat and Salcombe RNLI.

Chairman of Hope Cove Life Boat Graham Phillips said: ‘We never cease to be humbled by the kindness of local donations. In particular we are grateful to Keith and his colleagues at Soar Mill Cove Hotel, who have supported us since our formation in 2010.’

Soar Mill Cove Hotel will be hosting a ball at the end of the month in aid of The Royal Marines Charitable Trust and The Devon Air Ambulance.
